Tour Details

The Peaks & Plains Adventure is a once-in-a-lifetime 13-day journey that beautifully combines Tanzania’s two greatest experiences — conquering the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro and exploring the world’s most iconic safari parks.

Your adventure begins with a six-day climb of Mount Kilimanjaro via the scenic Marangu Route, also known as the “Coca-Cola Route.” This classic route offers comfortable mountain huts, gradual ascents, and stunning views as you make your way to Uhuru Peak — the highest point in Africa.

After the climb, you’ll have a well-deserved rest day in Arusha, where you’ll enjoy a relaxed town tour exploring cultural landmarks, local markets, and Tanzanian cuisine.

Refreshed and rejuvenated, your journey continues into the heart of the northern safari circuit — Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Lake Manyara — where endless plains, ancient baobabs, and abundant wildlife await. This perfectly balanced itinerary offers both the challenge of the mountain and the wonder of the wild.
